About Charles Levings, Founder/President
Though he specializes in marketing, management and human resources, Levings has also developed curriculum around specific issues affecting the workplace, including Sexual Harassment and Conflict Resolution, and is a highly respected executive coach and facilitator.
Early in his career, Levings was program director for a Florida-based juvenile delinquency program which was named No. 1 for effectiveness. Encouraged by his peers to enter the educational field, Levings taught marketing and management skills for a business school and was named Teacher of the Year two years running.
After founding Levings & Associates, Inc. in 1987, he continued to teach for private business colleges. As the demand for his services grew, he started writing curriculum around the needs of state agencies.
When the Florida Department of Insurance needed a training company to help notify policyholders of their rights in a class-action suit, Levings & Associates was chosen as contractor. Though Levings & Associates was only given three weeks prior to launch, the company was able to coordinate and conduct 700 different educational conferences throughout the state of Florida in five weeks.
Demand for Levings' expertise in organization development also increased, which allowed his company to diversify his client base to include private companies, educational and non-profit groups, in addition to government agencies.
Employing more than twelve specialized trainers, and tapping a network of more than 200 through professional affiliations, today Charlie Levings leads one of the most diverse training companies in the southeast.
Charlie Levings received his Masters degree in Human Services from Florida State University and his Bachelors in Business Administration from Loyola University in New Orleans. He is married and has two sons.
